Heliograph

A native app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch that makes trades and market signals impossible to miss.

status: In personal use. Not on the App Store.

A heliograph signals by flashing sunlight. Heliograph watches a trade-signal service through a Go archive I built, and flashes the morning premarket card, every executed trade and every signal, with an alarm you can't sleep through and push notifications when the app is closed.

Highlights

Five tabs, the same on iPhone, iPad and Mac: Premarket, Day Bias, Executed, Signals and Settings.
A latching full-screen alarm: a pulsing overlay, a repeating sound, vibration on iPhone and a bouncing dock icon on the Mac, until you acknowledge it.
Alert sounds synthesized at runtime from oscillator specs and tuned to carry at low volume, with no audio files.
Time-sensitive push notifications from a Go and PostgreSQL backend that watches the feed all day.
